So, yes, Fresh Juice has become the business name for all of the creative projects, design work and consulting that Joey and I do. And this blog is an outlet for all of that. BUT…I’ve always thought it would also make a pretty terrific restaurant idea. And I would give my pinkie finger for a glass of carrot juice and a breezy shop to sip it in!
Project Idea: Fresh Juice, juice bar/restaurant/studio
Location: 1614 Cuming St., Omaha, NE
Inspiration: a serious thirst for some fresh juice
Menu: Fresh squeezed juice and small bites – dips, salads, pizzas. In the evening, the juice gets juiced and the restaurant come lounge serves a cocktail menu that is heavy on fruit and herbs.
Vibe: Feels like a leisurely, soft air, summer day lounging on your rooftop patio in Fez. Light and breezy. Natural color palate with pops of color. Moorish touches. Low, soft light in the evenings.
Layout: juice bar/restaurant/lounge downstairs, Fresh Juice studio office upstairs
Music: Turn of the century colonial French/Arabian. (Does this exist?)
